Mayan Weaver in Antigua

this young Maya lady witht he lovely smile is weaving on the traditional backstrap loom. Mayans have used this simple loom for centuries, and use it to produce some of the finest hand-woven textiles in the world. She is working in Antigua Guatemala, in Central America.
